This case was originally in a jewelry store circa 1950's. The case had been in a safe for the last 50 years. Nothing has been altered from the last time it was in a store.
Overall very good condition. The glass is clean, the tray has virtually no staining aside from a few pencil tip marks where it rested. Looks like it was painted by the store, but the paint is very well done (they did leave an area unpainted where the the paper note is).
These are incredibly hard to find, and the perfect item for the vintage Esterbrook collector.
