The Hanukkah Oil Talisman is my second Benu and it’s even prettier than the first one. I thought it was pretty in the online pictures, but they don’t even come close when you see it in person! And as with every other pen I’ve bought from Pen Realm – new and pre-owned – it wrote like a dream, right out of the box. The free nib tuning offered with pen purchases is a real selling point in my opinion. Kirk is truly the best at ensuring your new pen will write perfectly.

I got this beautiful pen in the Manila Pen Show 2024. The colors and design with the gold and silver flakes are just magnificent. It came with a fine nib. There is some feedback, but it is not too much, and its Schmidt nib lays down ink on paper superbly. This is my first Benu pen. One thing I noticed, after owning it almost a month now, is that its cap and barrel glow in the dark! This will be my definite “conversation piece” pen. Great job, Benu!
