I have a Flex Commander nib unit mounted on an Opus 88 pen. It is fantastic! Finally a modern flex nib with the same characteristics as the vintage classics. It is very easy to flex, and with extremely wide line variation. It is on par with or even better than my Waterman Ideal 52.

I’ve never seen such variance in line width, and the nib is very smooth despite being extra fine tip.
I do see some limitations on the speed of writing to prevent railroading, but that is more of a characteristic to be aware and abide by rather than any limitation. I love it!
