$84.99

The TWSBI Diamond Mini White Rose Gold V2 Fountain Pen is a masterpiece of design and functionality. Its transparent, crystal-clear, diamond-faceted barrel showcases the built-in piston-filling mechanism, offering a smooth operation and an uninterrupted view of your ink’s level and color.

The cap is elegantly finished with the TWSBI logo and features a rubber O-ring on the threads, ensuring an airtight seal to prevent ink from drying out while keeping the cap securely in place. Additionally, the threaded barrel end allows the cap to post firmly, providing a balanced writing experience. Stylish and practical, this pen is a perfect blend of elegance and efficiency.

Description

Equipped with a polished steel nib engraved with the TWSBI logo, the pen is available in a range of nib sizes, including fine, medium, broad, extra-fine, and stub 1.1mm. Its compact dimensions make it a perfect everyday carry:

  • Length: 117mm closed, 108mm open, 140mm posted
  • Max barrel diameter: 12.4mm; grip section tapers to 9.8mm
  • Weight: 18g

For perspective, the pen is roughly the height of an iPhone when capped and about 1 inch shorter than the Diamond 580 when compared. The posted cap length ensures a balanced and comfortable writing experience.

Key Features:

  • Piston-filling mechanism (not compatible with cartridges)
  • Entirely disassemble for cleaning and servicing (tools and instructions included; disassembly is for experienced users and at your own risk)
  • Supplied gift-boxed, making it an excellent gift for writing enthusiasts

It’s the Diamond Mini White Rose Gold V2. This, like the 580, is the 2nd attempt/version, of rose gold pens. They have made a version similar to this before years ago, and now they have made improvements to the rose gold plating, added more rose gold to other parts of the pen, hence V2.

A quick no brainer guide in choosing nib sizes in an overly complicated fountain pen world:

If you write small, go with an EF
For the normal writer, F is the most popular
If you tend to lean on a bigger font, M will be perfect
B is for statements. Sign a check in B, write a header in B, do some coloring/shading in B
Stub nibs are italic in writing style (have a special card or invitation to write?)
