This is a wonderful pen. I love the colors of the pen, the facets, the weight and balance. The threads on the section are not sharp, nor do the longer threads do not bother me. The nib is very nice. I had Kirk grind a medium cursive smooth italic. It has just enough edge for nice line variation, but an easy writer. I really enjoy this pen and am considering another.
